Larian Saturdays

PC Gamer got a preview of Divinity: Dragon Commander recently, and evidently had a lot of fun with the game.

Meanwhile, both Strategy Informer and Gamespot published previews of Divinity: Original Sin, and both came away praising it for how it captures many different elements of the RPGs of yesterdecade.

And, of course, the Divinity: Original Sin Kickstarter reached the end of its Kickstarter campaign earlier this week, achieving all of it stretch goals after a nail-biter of a final countdown. The game is well and truly set, now, to become a proper Ultima 7 spiritual successor; let’s hope Larian Studios can deliver on such immense promise.

Of course, now that the actual campaign is over, the administrative work begins. Larian Studios are beginning to handle backer rewards, starting with those who selected Divine Divinity or the Divinity Anthology as an add-on. They’d like to get download keys out to everyone as soon as possible, so be sure to click on through and get in touch with them if that was one of the rewards you selected when you backed the project.

And if for some reason you haven’t backed the project yet, you can still do so via PayPal.
