Ex-Interplay Fridays

As per usual, several Obsidian developers have been very active on Formspring over the past week, fielding all manner of questions about Project Eternity (and other things). Tim Cain also posted an update to the Project Eternity Kickstarter page, providing some details on the Monk playable class and its…unique approach to damage-taking.

The RPG Codex, meanwhile, sat down with George Ziets for an interview about both Project Eternity and Torment: Tides of Numenera. Baldur’s Gate 3 also comes up for discussion.

Feargus Urquhart commented to Eurogamer that the “next-gen game” that Obsidian is apparently working on is “already looking great”. It was also revealed this week that Obsidian intends to pitch their ambitious Star Wars game idea (which I think came up for mention a few months ago) to Electronic Arts, now that EA has inked an exclusive deal to publish games using said IP.

And yes, South Park: The Stick of Truth is still a thing which is happening.
