Ultima 3.5 Pax Britannia: New Title Screen
Andrew Owen revealed the new title screen for Ultima 3.5: Pax Britannia, in a post on the Ultima Dragons Facebook group. It’s a pretty fancy image, albeit necessarily pixelated and lacking in colour depth due to the fact that the game is being build for the ZX Spectrum.

After perusing the project entry I’m not sure if this is completely insane or totally cool. Both, perhaps? As a child of CGA, EGA and praise the Lord finally MCGA, I can appreciate this.
Its a rather nice effort and Spectrum never had an Ultima. Andrew is a good guy, we chatted and bounced ideas back and forth a few times considering we’re both working on 8-bit CRPGs.
A good amount of people/teams are working on 8-bit CRPGs at the moment. I can think of four for C64, one for TI-99/4a, and this effort for Spectrum.
