Founded in 1987, SXSW has emerged as a creative mecca and an incubator of cutting-edge ideas. In this preview, Hugh Forrest will highlight a new component of SXSW Interactive Festival, focusing on Science and Space Exploration. Richard Garriott de Cayeux, a key member of the commercial spaceflight revolution will share how science and technology, among other factors, have made it possible for space travel to become affordable and potentially profitable.
