Risen 2: Dark Waters had its fair share of technical issues and just generally didn’t do all that well. That said, it did win praise for some of its elements, and the setting was an interesting departure from traditional RPG tropes. If you’ve been curious to try it out but have been holding off because you don’t want to pay full price, the game and its DLC are on sale on Steam this week.
