Scythifuge has posted a small update to the Facebook page of his project, the Exult-based remake of Savage Empire:

Reexamining the avatar sprites. I would like for the avatar to be able to learn to cast Eodonian magic in this version of the game so I must work on casting sprites.

I also have to finish recoloring the rest of the frames as well as make backpack-wearing frames.

I think that the avatar would be wearing a watch & there will be one which will replace Ultima VII’s pocket watch.

It would seem rumours of this project’s indefinite suspension have been at least somewhat exaggerated!
