Warren Spector's Next 'Epic' Project Gets Revealed Next Week

I missed reporting on this previously, but I noticed a week or two ago that Gamespot had reported that the 27th of March was going to be the day that Disney announced Warren Spector’s next ‘epic’ project. Speculation suggests that this will be a sequel to his rather successful Mickey Mouse title from 2010, Epic Mickey, and that would be a welcome enough thing (to be sure).

Not that anyone here would complain if he revealed a remastered version of Ultima Underworld for the Wii*. But it seems unlikely that Disney would be the label for that.

* Shut up! It could work…

This sounds good. I wondered if Disney would continue to support him after the reviews, but it looks like sales and Disney fans made it clear there is room for a sequel.

There is a lot of source material left for Warren to use for sequels that is in the Disney vaults.

Too bad. I want UU for Wii. It would have a higher resolution (640×480), faster frame rate (30/60 fps), more precise control on two axes (infrared pointer for orientation and nunchuck analog for movement). UU the way it was meant to be, other than Kinect.
