A little one!

My apologies for the lack of updates this month; in addition to getting away for an Easter vacation, my wife and I just found out that we are now expecting our first child. Very exciting! It does keep one busy, however.

Oh, yeah: far less awesomely, let me just apologize if the site is wonky tomorrow. I’m upgrading WordPress again, as well as the image-handler.[tags]Easter[/tags]

    Congratulations!

Babies are truly a miracle from God.

  2. Absolutely, a miracle indeed; we are very thankful, and very much looking forward to our son or daughter’s birthday — which, incidentally, might only come a few days after our wedding anniversary!

    Thanks, Ranman! 🙂

Congrats bud!! I have four kiddos and they are the best thing that has ever happened to me.

Congrats mate and sleep while you can! 🙂

My firstborn is now about eight months old and it has been a wonderful adventure. And lot of learning for all of us. You will go through all the feelings; laughter, cry, hate, devotion, caring, anger and love. It’s great to see every week (or even a day) her to learn new things, like to sit(!) for example. =D

“Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.” – Matthew 19:14

  5. Thanks, Ergon — we are looking forward to the coming challenges of parenting. Although, in the same vein, I think we are doomed; this child is, after all, going to be my and Grace’s child. That s/he will be a troublemaker is, I think, a certainty.

Someone — not quite sure who — once noted that children have an odd effect on adults, in that we take on a measure of their innocence. “By their very existence, they do make us watch our mouth, be good examples of courtesy and kindness, and love immeasurably. In short, they make us better.”
