Forgotten Worlds Update

Hawkwind, a member of the “Forgotten World” project — contacted me to let me (and, by extension, all of Aiera’s readers) know that the team have posted an update on the project website. Their chief announcement is that they have begun testing the engine’s support of high-resolution textures (256×256, instead of the 128×128 textures that the game originally used). (It should be noted that the screenshots linked above are not meant to indicate the “final look” of the mod, and are basically just proofs of concept)

Also, the team have updated their FAQ section, and have announced that they will be making a few changes to the plot of Ultima 9. To that end, they are looking for someone familiar with Ultima lore to join the team. If that describes you, O Reader, drop them a line.
